My journey into real estate was not a conventional one. After spending years in the U.S. working with Cisco, Dell, HP, etc., I encountered firsthand the stark difference between real estate experience abroad and in India. Managing my property in the U.S. was seamless, with transparent transactions and structured processes. However, when dealing with brokers in India, I found myself facing constant misinformation, hidden charges, and an overall lack of trust.

This personal experience ignited a mission: to redefine trust in Indian real estate. Thus, Agarwal Estates was born with a simple yet powerful vision—transparency, integrity, and a process-driven approach that empowers clients to make informed decisions. We wanted to build a brand where trust is the foundation, and our clients know that their best interests always come first. However, in mid-project, external disruptions caused delays. Instead of making excuses, our team took ownership, working to speed things up without compromising quality. The result? Peace of mind and a well-executed sale for our NRI client, with the client expressing gratitude for making them feel involved despite being miles away.

This experience reinforced our core philosophy: challenges are inevitable, but how we respond defines us.

What would be your advice to other budding entrepreneurs who aspire to venture into the real estate space?

Real estate is not just about properties; it’s about people and communication. Entrepreneurs entering this space must remember that trust is their greatest asset.

Start by building a reputation for honesty and transparency, even if it means turning down short-term gains. Invest in knowledge—understand the legal, financial, and emotional aspects of property transactions. Finally, embrace technology.
